UNBLOCK: A Spatial Playground for Nomads

UNBLOCK is a nomadic space, based on the Constant's NEW BABYLON project theme. Nomadism provides us with creativity and playfulness toward a new way of life, where happiness is a result of self-creation. That is to say, the world of the HOMO LUDENS. As for that, I created a spatial system in which removable plug-in units are easily connected to an infrastructure made of concrete blocks. The plug-in units are easy to carry, while two of them are enough to invent a self desirable space. The diverse situations generate a dynamic space of wandering, staying and communicating.

The installation is part of my final thesis project @the Department of Interior Design, COMAS, where I graduated [B.Des] in June 2011.
Since then, I practiced in many fields of the design world. From architecture and urban design office to graphic design, exhibitions and teaching assistance.
I live and work in Tel-Aviv for the last 7 years, where mostly I get my hunger to create.
